Awards/ Divisions
Awards The Heatwave Classic is proud of the unique awards given each year to the top participants. Winners receive pieces of pottery from VC Originals, available only to participants of the Heatwave Classic. These awards are unique and keep participants coming back year after year to add to their collection.
Awards will be given to the following: 1st place overall, male & female 1st place masters, male & female 1st place grandmasters, male & female Top 3 finishers in age group, male & female Top 3 finishers in Clydesdale (men 200+ lbs) Top 3 finishers in Athena (women 150+ lbs) Top 3 finishers in relay, male, female, mixed
Divisions The Heatwave Classic will feature the following divisions: Mixed Relay Team Age divisions are based on the participant’s age as of June 5, 2004.
Male Masters Grandmasters 10 – 19 years of age 20 – 24 years of age 25 – 29 years of age 30 – 34 years of age 35 – 39 years of age 40 – 44 years of age 45 – 49 years of age 50 – 54 years of age 55 – 59 years of age 60+ years of age Clydesdale (200+ lbs.)
